Derb
I am retiring gifafi as my favorite word that no one understands. There is a new title-holder, and that is "derb." Derb, like gifafi, is an acronym. It stands for "don't ever run bad." So whenever someone gets lucky or sucks out and you want to give them some gentle ribbing, use derb.
For example, today I saw a razz hand. On the end, one guy had a wheel and the other guy had a #2. The guy with the wheel checked and called on the river. So you could say to the guy with the #2, "derb."
No, that really happened. The guy made a wheel and he checked and called. In a 200-400 game. No joke.
My trip to Vegas was good. Played some golf, saw some people, played some poker, came back with more money than I arrived with. I've been doing well online since I got back.
And that's all for now.
Oh, also, congrats go out to my boy Justin Bonomo who came 7th in the 15k yesterday. He also made like every final table in the preliminary events. This guy is going to tear up the tournament scene now that he's 21. You watch.

good word. i still think i like gifafi better. how is fantasy football? should be playoffs time right?
Football has been shitty since I was posting about it. A lot of my guys (McNabb, K Jones, C Taylor, Watson, etc) have gotten hurt. I made the playoffs in a few leagues but am only still alive for serious money in one.
What's even more impressive is that Justin also finished 12th, 39th and 64th in the event. What a performance!

I DERBed somebody twice in a 6/h SNG today for flopping the joint with absolute trash in EP. Very cathartic.
