WSOP 5k NLH
I ran the 5k NLH event today. It was awesome. Here were the three relevant hands:
- 25-50 blinds, Lee Markholdt raises in LP, I call in the next seat with KTs, a Euro-looking guy on the button calls. Flop KcTcXx, Lee checks, I decide this is a good flop to slowplay and check. European players are aggressive right? Button checks. Turn J, Lee bets 300, I think "Lee must have AQ or JJ" and call, button folds. River blank, I pay off 1000 and he has the nuts.
- 50-100 blinds, EP makes it 325, three people call, I call in SB with KJs. Flop J53 rainbow checked around. Turn 4 I bet 1100, one of the cold callers makes it 3500, I fold.
- 50-100 blinds, UTG limps, I make it 425 on the button with AKs, only limper calls. Flop K72 rainbow, he checks, I bet some amount, he raises some amount, I jam for some amount, he has 77.
I had 75 chips after that hand and actually built it up to 1450 before busting. When I have a result like this is big no limit hold em tournament, I feel outclassed at the game. I feel like I just have no chance. Oh well.
It's really not going well for me right now. I lost pretty big again today. Worse than that, I was snapping at people and slamming my chips around. I'm not usually like that. I apologize if you talked to me today.

Hey Chris - you probably don't need/want to hear it, but for the small chance that you in fact do: keep your head up and take a "deep breath", you're a winning player and short term variance will surely pass.
You are and have been playing very badly...time to re-group.
Good thing anonymous douchebags have the time to post negative, completely unproductive comments. I'm sure they'd handle the pressure and swings of high limit play with half the class that you do on a daily basis.
Read "Repeat After Me" and stop slamming chips. You're much cuter when you throw the Slinky!
