Day Off
Time for a day off today, I think. I had another huge loss yesterday and am now back to being quite stuck for the month after getting even from my previous bad week. When I'm winning I tend to pick good spots but that goes out the window when I get stuck. Something to work on. Note to self: remember that your month-to-date results, good or bad, don't mean much in the grand scheme of things.

Hardest lesson in poker. By far. I *think* I've learned it, but I haven't been put to a real test in a while.
I watched you play triple draw for like an hour last night and was very suprised to see you leave a full table which looked to me which had a few weak players to play heads up. Perhaps you enjoy heads up more and have done better in the past but I thought you could have cleaned up that table.
I don't think the game was full at all last night. At one point two tough players were playing heads up and I was sitting out. I'm not sure exactly what you mean but you may have seen the situation incorrectly because I don't think what you're describing happened. I prefer to play in a full game.
Chris,
Can you come slum at 10-20 sometime? I play under the handle Anton St Just.
Who are these guys you are playing against?
The players in the game are a mix of cash game players that most people have never heard of and a few 'famous' poker players. There are also a bunch of players who I have no idea about.
Nice rant....do you feel better now donkey?
