Finally Heading Home

I'm in the airport now waiting for my flight back to New York. I can't believe I stayed here for two weeks! I had fun though and was able to break up the poker by doing non-poker things with good friends.

Since I wrote last, I've been losing. In fact I think I lost every day since my last post. I still had a winning trip but it's funny how the confidence I had a few days ago just isn't with me anymore. My confidence has always been fragile. The night I played 500/1000 and won was probably the most confident I've ever been in poker. Ah don't worry. I'll get it back.

I don't have any poker tournament trips planned until Bellagio in April. I'll be out in Vegas in March for non-poker activites (March Madness and fantasy baseball drafts) and I think I'm going to Foxwoods this weekend for a night or two, but other than that I'll be home.

Hope everyone is doing well. Hope I can sleep on this flight.

Was that the game where you were sitting next to Nick who was next to Noli who was next to Allen (with Melissa peering on)? Tough field...for me anyway.

No, that wasn't the 500/1000 game. We were playing 200/400 that night and the lineup was good. Just because players are well-known or successful in tournaments doesn't mean they're tough in a live limit game.

...and that's all the detail I'm going to provide about that!

I hardly believe you can come out to Vegas in March and avoid the poker tables completely.

I'm sure I'll play some but honestly it's a busy trip with a lot of non-poker stuff going on and many of my non-poker friends are in town.
