Vegas Thursday

Mixed game options today were 40/80 or 400/800 and up. Since I prefer to play in between those limits these days, I played the 40 game for a few hours and then ran the $500 tournament that Bellagio is doing every day. They got about 150 players. I busted 23rd with 18 getting paid. With 400/800/75 blinds, two people limped and I jammed from the SB with ATo for 5500. Everyone folded to the second limper who mused out loud about whether he wanted to race and then called almost all his chips with 22. I'm not sure what this guy's plan was limping for more than 10% of his stack and playing a flop with two deuces. Of course the flop came 772 and he jumped up and clapped his hands. I'm not saying I'm going to do it, but if someone gets punched in the face for such a celebration at a poker tournament sometime soon, I won't be surprised. I've taken to clapping along with these people and giving them a sarcastic high-five. Just take the chips and shut up.

Anyway, woo! After I blogged last night I did very well in that triple draw game so hopefully things are looking up. Nothing much going on tomorrow and then super satellites Saturday and Sunday.

Were you going to jam there with just about any hand, or did you just find a hand do it with?

Dude, his plan was to flop a two! Duh! If he doesn't hit his two this time, he's got 9 more chances to try and hit a set!

Chris, It's funny after all this time you still let silly stuff like this bother you at the poker table.

My favorite is when someone hits their 3-outer and starts screaming "That's what I'm talking about!" I guess if that was their plan all along, it works for me.
