Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, readers.
I'm playing the Stars and Party Sundays right now. Stars added $100k this week. Luckily I just ran JJ into QQ on a rag flop during the first level so I'll be out soon.
I've played two sessions since I started back playing the Party hold em games. The first resulted in a small loss. The second, last night, started off the same way for the first few hours but then I got hot and booked a nice win. Here are some hands from those sessions. These ridiculous hands are truly one of the things I missed most about my time away from Party:
- UTG raises, I three-bet UTG+1 with TT, BB calls, UTG calls. Flop 7h 5d 2s, BB checks, UTG bets, I raise, BB calls, UTG calls. Turn 6d, they check, I bet, BB calls, UTG folds. River 8d, BB bets, I call, BB has Kd4d. Oh you called two bets cold on the flop...niiiiice...
- UTG raises, I three-bet in MP with TT, all fold to UTG who calls. Flop K62 rainbow, he checks, I bet, he calls. Turn 3 check check. River 5, he bets, I call, he has 64o. Oh you raised with 64o UTG...niiiiice....
- UTG limps, all fold to me in SB, I call with K3s, BB checks. Flop A83 checked around. Turn 4, checked around. River 3, I bet, BB folds, UTG raises, I three-bet, UTG calls with A8. Well played, well played.
I'm looking forward to testing the popular blogger theory that online poker donators have less money to blow between Halloween and Christmas and then start donating more again around the first of the year.
*EDIT* Party bustout:
- UTG limps for 50, I make it 225 in the next seat with AdKd, button calls, limper folds. Flop Jd Tc 2d, I jam for 815, button calls with KQ, river A. Merry Christmas!

What limits/how many tables do you play at a time on Party?

I am playing 30-60 and 50-100 and playing between four and six tables at once. Merry xmas.

I haven't played the 50 game much at all but it certainly seems tougher than the 30 game.
I'm going to keep my new name secret at least for now.
Until you post a hand history and forget to subsitute Hero for everywhere it says your name, right?
